I’ve been to MAX a few times and everything I’ve had was excellent. The voodoo pasta is very unique and spicy and good. The balsamic cherry reduction that comes with the bread is incredible, and the bread is very good as well. I had the most incredible au gratin potatoes. The flavor just exploded in your mouth. You could tell they must be incredibly unhealthy. Whatever. I also had a filet there and it was very good. The salads are good with candied nuts.
I had the same server both times I’ve eaten a meal there and she gets the job done and is helpful if you have questions. The second time I was there the manager stopped by real quick and asked how everything was.
I’ve also been there later at night for a drink or two and there is live music, not really my kind of music per se, but it was still pretty cool.

Went here on the night before my 40th birthday. Server was still going to offer me a free dessert even though my birthday was the next day…but we were stuffed with the great food!
First, we started with the Catsu Trio, which featured chicken, beef and shrimp with three great sauces. What they don’t mention is the pineapple the skewers are poked into tastes great as well. My wife and I both had Caesar salads, which were good as well, except we had to ask for fresh ground pepper.
For entree I had the Voodoo pasta with shrimp (you can also get chicken), which was awesome but just to warn you it is SPICY in the Cajun way. Great flavor though. My wife had the Sea Bass fish and chips. It was sweet and tender on the outside, crisp on the outside. Excellent!
Service was good and very attentive, and it was a great dinner. We will return and try the award winning steaks next time.
Thank you, Max, for a great meal!
